It was great to have you be a part of our event. I had an opportunity to speak with a few of our delegates at our cocktail reception immediately following our speaker program. Many of our small and medium business owners expressed that your presentation hit home in many ways for them. Some (fathers of adult children, who also took over business from their own fathers many years ago) even noted that they found themselves emotional at times.
These specific gentlemen that I spoke with noted that your program was their personal favorite. I was able to offer the free copies of your book to some of these members as well as members in similar situations at our facility tour the next day. The individuals who I shared your book with were all very pleasantly surprised to be receiving it!
I was unable to attend your entire presentation, but my husband was in the room and he shared many of your stories with me afterward. Particularly the stories about families in position to sell and the scenarios where uninvolved siblings who hold stake have the power to stall or halt sale and the challenges that come with that. Your family related scenarios certainly stuck with him and we had many conversations over the following weeks about these different scenarios that came come up.
Overall, your speaking was very well received.
